Workload Agreement: Summary Report is a mixed-media piece that fuses acrylic paint and hand-painted paper. Within its intricate layers of red, white, and black, geometric shapes burst outwards suggesting a dislocation within a once organized space. Triangles and other shapes intersect, evoking the complexities of negotiating expectations and obligations. The juxtaposed materials explore the imbalance between necessity and play. Viewers navigate the contours of workplace demands and the possibilities created through dis-alignment.
Where it's been: This piece has been displayed at Crown Realty Partners and GWL Realty Advisers buildings in downtown Toronto and Mississauga. It also appeared in the 12 Artists/12 Weeks show at the Toronto Markham Marriott Hotel.
